Lots of activity has been going on locally from some amazing people with donations galore!
The lovely team at Boho Burrito donated their tips to the foodbank!
The HS2 team have been busy too, they chose Bicester Foodbank as their local site’s chosen Christmas charity and (including funds matching from their Head Office)!
Community Dental Services have also been busy and have donated, which will help us provide some Easter treats for our clients.
It’s also that time of year when we need to look out for people who might need a bit of extra support – do you know someone who may need a food parcel this winter? Maybe an older person or a family in need? Our ‘Get Help’ section on our web page will direct them to how they can receive help.
We also welcome some new volunteers this month – great to have you on the team!
If you’d like to help by donating food – the list of where to drop off at local supermarkets has been updated and we are particularly looking for more of the following this month: Juice & squash, tinned tomatoes, long life milk. (Also, we have plenty of pasta, rice & cereal so we DON’T NEED any of this for the moment).
